Bainton and Ashton Local Council

  • Bainton and Ashton local council are an elected group who undertake to manage the parish within the rules set out by national government.
  • The Council are unpaid apart for the Parish Clark who receives a salary commensurate with national guidelines.
  • The Council meet every other month to discuss such matters as have been put onto the agenda and to make such decisions as they have powers o uphold.
  • Should any member of the public wish for any subject to be placed on the agenda they should submit it to a Councillor at least 2 weeks before the council meeting so that it may be considered for inclusion in that months agenda.
